School was canceled today, and, in order to not go nuts and expire from cabin fever, I took my friend April up on her offer to take Button to the aquarium. We met her and her kids and we had a blast. Button seemed a little nervous at first, but, I was probably nervous my first time going into an aquarium too. I mean, it’s dark, there are completely unfamiliar animals swimming around you, and of course, random whale and dolphin sounds coming from hidden speakers. So yeah, her fear was warranted! But she warmed up to it pretty quickly and soon we were having a great time. Her favorite part was the turtles.

But she enjoyed the other exhibits too. All in all, it was a great morning out. Thanks, April!
