I do so apologize for my recent lack of postings. My mama went in for back surgery last week and I’ve been spending most of my time with her. I tried to post from the hospital, but the hospital’s firewall blocked WordPress. Makes sense, huh? Mom is home now and I’m staying with her for a couple of weeks while she recoups. The only downer is my parents have this super needy cat that simply will not leave me alone. She stayed in my face pretty consistently last night, which was interesting. Now that we’re home, everything is much more relaxed and the pace is a lot slower. I’m slightly dubious of my nursing skills, but mom is still alive, so, I must be pretty good.
